- What makes the Blight Stone extra awesome is that this armor reduction effect lingers for a few seconds, giving your hero and nearby allies the advantage in battles. It's like leaving a mark of vulnerability on the enemies, making them more susceptible to attacks from your whole team!

The Blight Stone was introduced as a new item in the 6.87 patch of Dota 2. However, what's intriguing is that its functionality and design were inspired by a similar item in the original Dota mod for Warcraft III called 'Desolator Recipe'.
