Itemization Strategy

The Ring of Health is bought usually by tankers or what we call more often as Offlaners in the early game as it gives them survivability and edge on the battle field. Heroes that you would see carrying this item are usually Axe, Bristleback and Primal Beast.

Trivia

An interesting trivia about the Ring of Health in Dota 2 is its historical evolution and its initial association with health regeneration. Originally in the Warcraft III mod, Defense of the Ancients (DotA), the Ring of Health was introduced as an item providing health regeneration. When Dota 2 was developed, the Ring of Health retained its primary function of granting health regeneration but gained more prominence as a standalone item available in the in-game shop.
