- Now is a unit-targeted ability. Barathrum gains 75% magic resistance and distorts reality around the selected hero, making any unit-targeted spells cast by enemy heroes on the target to get redirected towards Spirit Breaker. Can be cast on both allied and enemy heroes, but only spells cast by enemies of Spirit Breaker will be redirected. Cast Range: 700
- Io's Tether is the only exception that will ignore this effect
- Redirected spells are not considered as reflected. If Spirit Breaker is under effects such as Lotus Orb's Echo Shell, redirected spells will be reflected back to the enemy caster
- If the redirected spell has different interactions for allies and enemies, Spirit Breaker will receive the enemy interaction
- Cooldown increased from 20s to 25s
- Mana Cost increased from 75 to 100
- Duration decreased from 7s to 6s
- Now dispellable only by Strong Dispel

Strategy
In order to pressure opponents on the lane, bring creep equilibrium closer to your tower. You should consider dragging creeps from behind the enemy tower or pulling to achieve this.
Consider charging the furthest target in a line to bash all the opponents heroes on the way.
Movement speed items are amazing for Spirit Breaker as they amplify the Greater Bash damage.
Pop Bulldoze and other movement speed increasing items like Phase Boots or Shadow Blade before Charge lands.
Use Charge of Darkness to provide vision over an opponent so he can't juke your allies.
Charge of Darkness allows you to focus on the backliners and supports. Focus on those in the fights.
Take your time to farm {shadow-blade} as it provides even more burst and almost guarantees Charge completion.
When not much is happening, push out the side lanes by Charging through all the creeps.
{aghanims-shard} is a must in the mid game as it increases the Charge speed to do more damage and improve your initiation.
Counter Strategy
Charge of Darkness provides vision over you. Hiding in trees won't help once you're charged.
Avoid wasting disables on Spirit Breaker buffed by Bulldoze.
Spirit Breaker roams a lot. Keep track of his movements and have a teleport ready.
Spells and items that provide instant disable are great at stopping Charge of Darkness.
Linken's Sphere is great against Charge of Darkness.
Lore
Barathrum the Spirit Breaker is a lordly and powerful being, a fierce and elemental intelligence which chose to plane-shift into the world of matter to take part in events with repercussions in the elemental realm that is his home. To that end, he assembled a form that would serve him well, both in our world and out of it. His physical form borrows from the strengths of this world, blending features both bovine and simian--horns, hooves and hands--as outward emblems of his inner qualities of strength, speed and cunning. He wears a ring in his nose, as a reminder that he serves a hidden master, and that this world in which he works is but a shadow of the real one.
