Strategy
Avoid feeding eidolons, try to have them multiply and use them to secure last hits and denies as well as harassing your opponents.
Midnight Pulse destroys trees which can be useful in certain scenarios to reveal hiding opponents in trees or clear the way for your team.
Once you get Blink Dagger, make use of it immediately before opponents can see it in your inventory.
Be patient in teamfights, avoid showing too early and wait for opponents to clump up for your combo.
When not much is happening, use eidolons to push out sidelanes safely or farm jungle camps.
Look to use Demonic Summoning frequently to harass and zone the enemy support, and blocking the pull camp.
Counter Strategy
Try to kill eidolons before they multiply.
Be aware of Enigma's Blink Dagger timing.
Avoid fighting in choke spots and clumping up against Blink Dagger into Black Hole combo.
Black Hole has a long cooldown. Look for a fight when it is on cooldown.
Stay back with one hero that can cancel Black Hole or save a core that is being Black Holed.
Having Aegis on a core hero to survie trough Black Hole is key versus Enigma. Kill Roshan the first chance you get.
Lore
Nothing is known of Enigma's background. There are only stories and legends, most of them apocryphal, passed down through the ages. In truth, Enigma is a mystery for whom the only true biography is description: he is a universal force, a consumer of worlds. He is a being of the void, at times corporeal, other times ethereal. A beast between the planes.
There are stories that say he was once a great alchemist who tried to unlock the secrets of the universe and was cursed for his arrogance. Other legends tell that he is an ancient being of strange gravity, the abyss personified--a twisted voice from out the original darkness, before the first light in the universe. And there are older legends that say he is the first collapsed star, a black hole grown complicated and sentient--his motivations unknowable, his power inexorable, a force of destruction unleashed upon existence itself.
