Song of the Siren provides a long duration lockdown in a massive AOE to set up the perfect Black Hole. Reel In can pull additional targets into Black Hole with Ensnare and Mirror Image can provide vital vision and frontline for Enigma's initiation.

Vacuum can pull multiple targets into Black Hole for devastating amounts of damage when combined with Midnight Pule, Ion Shell and Illusions from Wall of Replica and Normal Punch. Surge provides Enigma with much needed mobility, which he can use to connect his high impact spells more reliably.

RP can both pull and stun multiple targets together setting them up for a devastating Midnight Pulse into Black Hole combo. Skewer's long cast range can drag multiple additionall targets into Black Hole.

Storm Spirit's Aghanim's Scepter upgrade allows him to pull and stun multiple targets together with Electric Vortex setting them up for a devastating Midnight Pulse into Black Hole combo. His abundance of AOE damage with Static Remnant and Overload combined with his long reach with Ball Lightning makes im a consistent follow-up for any Black Hole initiations.

Flaming Lasso and Flamebreak can reposition multiple targets into Black Hole, while Aghanim's Scepter further extends the number of targets he can reposition. Firefly can be built up over a Black Hole for massive AOE damage.

A core aura item that boosts the HP sustain, damage, mana sustain, and tankiness of your team and Eidolons.

An upgrade for Tranquil Boots to improve your impact in teamfights with movement speed and attack speed auras for you and your army of Eidolons. The Endurance active makes your team unslowable for a while to chase or run away from enemy heroes.

A core mobility item to get the ideal positioning for Black Hole in teamfights. Also lets you close the gap on enemy heroes and lock them down with Malefice.

A core item to have more Eidolons when you cast Malefice to do more damage and have better split push potential. Gives you an additional way of pushing waves by casting Malefice on a creep and having the eidolons clear the rest of the wave.

Black Hole pierces Rage's Debuff Immunity and does not get mitigated by Unfettered's Status Resistance nor does it get dispelled as it is a channel, giving Enigma a reliable way of locking down LS. Midnight Pulse also pierces Rage's Debuff Immunity and does not get mitigated by Status Resistance. In lane Eidolons are amazing at securing last hits and more importantly denies due ot LS's low base attack damage.

Both Black Hole and Midnight Pulse pierce Blade Fury's Debuff Immunity and Black Hole can be used to instantly control Jugg as he exits his Omnislash or Swiftslash (Aghanim's Scepter Upgrade), giving Enigma a reliable way of locking down Jugg. Eidolons are amazing at both killing Healing Ward, soaking Omnislash and Swiftslash hits and securing denies in lane due ot Jugg's low base attack damage.

Black Hole and Midnight Pulse are capable of controlling and doing immense damage to all Meepos. Black Hole can be used on a single Meepo to prevent the rest of his clones from comming to his aid with Poof as they would also be instantly affected by it. Midnight Pulse can deal immense damage to MegaMeepo (Aghanim's Scepter upgrade) as it deals % current HP, while Black Hole can be placed on top of Dig to instantly control any Meepo that exits it.

Both Black Hole and Midnight Pulse can affect Slark despite his heavy defensive kit. Dark Pact does not dispel either, while Shadow Dance and Depth Shroud (Aghanim's Shard upgrade) do not prevent their effects due to them being AOE, giving Enigma a reliable way of locking down Slark . Black Hole can suck Slark back in as he Pounces and Midnight Pulse can destroy a large are of trees preventing him from hiding to heal up with Barracuda.

Black Hole does not get mitigated by Enrage's Status Resistance, giving Enigma a reliable way of locking down Ursa, counterring Ursa's main defensive mechanic. In lane Eidolons are amazing at securing last hits and more importantly denies due ot LS's low base attack damage.

The massive HP regen from Chemical Rage provides solid protection from being bursted during a Black Hole. Enigma's many Eidolons trigger Greevil's Greed and often become the focus of Alch for some massive easy gold. Malefice get's dispelled by both Chemical Rage and Berserk Potion.

Bristleback can mitigate significant damage during Black Hole and Midnight Pulse and even kill off Enigma with Quill Spray procs before a full Black Hole channel is completed. Eidolons have relatively low armor and mostly provide extra Gold and XP for Bristleback.

Spectre's Dispersion makes her one of the better heroes to survie a Black Hole as Dispersion reduces ANY damage source incluing BH's Pure damage. Shadow Step and Haunt allow Spectre to focus Enigma and prevent him from executing a clean Black Hole.

Global Silence can interrupt Black Hole from anywhere on the map, forcing Enigma to either catch Silencer in it or not use it altogether until he is dead or Global Silence is on cooldown. Even if Enigma is under the effects of BKB or any other form of debuff immunity Global Silence would still interrupt BLack Hole's channel.

Spell Steal arms Rubick and his team with an empowered Black Hole. Arcane Supremacy amplifies the cast range and damage of Malefice, Midnight Pulse and Black Hole. Telekinesis can instantly interrupt Black Hole or be used to break Linken's along with Fade Bolt to steal it.

Chaotic Offering has a huge AOE and cast range that can reliably interrupt Black Hole, even during BKB or any other form of debuff immunity. Clipping Enigma with any of Warlock's basic spells -Fatal Bonds, Shadow Word, Upheaval before he gets to use Black Hole can disrupt his Blink initiation. His basic abilities are also effective at clearing Eidolons.
