Abba can prolong Huskar's life significantly with Aphotic Shield and Mist Coil , allowing him to out sustain his opponents and finish them off.
Dawnbreaker provides a global save for Huskar with his Solar Guardian, allowing him to connect to Huskar and forcing the enemy team to essentially 5 man.
Shadow Demon can prolong Huskar's life significantly with Disruption, allowing him to heal up with Berserker's Blood and out sustain his opponents to finish them off. Once upgraded with Aghanim's Shard, Demonic Purge provides an additional layer of defense with it's heal and dispel.
...core items [7.39b]
A core item to increase your movement speed and have more mobility when fighting or running towards power runes. Gets upgraded to Boots of Travel or Power Treads later in the game.
Armlet is amazing for it's cost (its about double in value), however most heroes cannot deal with it's built in HP cost in order to make use of it. Berserker's Blood fixes that. Armlet allows you to flash farm jungle or to solo Roshan as early as level 7. Use it as a pseudo heal by having it off, engaging into a fight and waiting for your HP to drop in order to heal up with it.
A core item that empowers Huskar's sustain greatly, affecting Berserker's Blood. Further upgrades into Abyssal Blade or Sange Yasha/Kaya.
A core item to avoid most disables and silences on the enemy team to use Life Break and hit freely in fights with Burning Spear. Also improves your right click damage and tankiness through HP pool and magic resistance.
A core item that gives you tankiness and HP sustain through lifesteal and lets you turn the fight from low health. Also lets you dispel yourself when in trouble.

Berserker's Blood provides Huskar with Magic Resistance to mitigate the damage from Firestorm and ample sustain to counteract it's DOT effect. Life Break can be used during Pit of Malice to dispel the root and leave it's AOE altogether.
Anti Mage burns Mana, Huskar is the ONLY hero in the game that does not use Mana as a resource at all, rendering Mana Break or Mana Void useless.
Huskar DESTROYS Ember in lane and completely shuts down his early game as he deals too much damage and has too much sustain for Ember to deal with. Ember's best bet is to try and get as much resources as possible from the lane and leave as the matchup only gets worse for him troughout the entirety of the laning stage.
Huskar DESTROYS Pango in lane and completely shuts down his early game as he deals too much damage and has too much sustain for Pango to deal with. Pango's best bet is to try and get as much resources as possible from the lane and leave as the matchup only gets worse for him troughout the entirety of the laning stage.
Huskar DESTROYS Void Spirit in lane and completely shuts down his early game as he deals too much damage and has too much sustain for Void Spirit to deal with. Void's best bet is to try and get as much resources as possible from the lane and leave as the matchup only gets worse for him troughout the entirety of the laning stage.
Huskar DESTROYS ESin lane and completely shuts down his early game as he deals too much damage and has too much sustain for ES to deal with. Shaker's best bet is to try and get as much resources as possible from the lane and leave as the matchup only gets worse for him troughout the entirety of the laning stage.
Huskar is strong against Puck because his Burning Spears apply constant damage over time, forcing Puck to play defensively. Once Puck uses Phase Shift or Orb, Huskar can jump with Life Break and kill quickly. Puck is fragile and struggles to deal with Huskar’s high early-game tempo. Huskar also naturally builds BKB, countering Puck’s control.
Earth Spirit relies on spells to control fights, but Huskar's magic resistance from Berserker's Blood and early BKB reduces their impact. Huskar can frontline and pressure Earth Spirit before he gets utility items. Earth Spirit has limited damage output to bring Huskar down through Inner Fire healing and lifesteal. Huskar punishes slow, spell-based initiations.
Clockwerk traps heroes in Cogs, but Huskar doesn’t mind being in close range. With Burning Spears and high attack speed, he melts Clock quickly. Clockwerk’s magic damage and control aren’t enough to stop Huskar, especially after BKB. Huskar turns Clock’s initiation into an advantage by sustaining and forcing Clock into a bad trade.
Phoenix struggles against high attack speed, and Huskar excels at that once low HP. Huskar can easily kill Supernova before it detonates. He’s also not very threatened by Phoenix’s spells due to his magic resistance and healing. Life Break helps him close the gap and dive on Phoenix before it escapes.

Ice Blast is one of, if not the best spell against Huskar as he is the only hero in DOTA that does not have a Mana pool and utilizes HP to cast his spells and items. It prevents his Berserker's Bloodhealing and the lack of mobility in Huskar's kit makes it difficult for him to disengage easily and wait out the duration safely. Even if he just gets clipped by Ice Blast's debuff he usually dies to Armlet as he generally runs around at already low HP.
Huskar loves playing on low HP to get maximum benefit from his Berserker's Blood, making him a perfect target for Reaper's Scythe. Ghost Shroud prevents Huskar from atacking Necro, and level 20 talent essentially negates Huskar's level 20 talent for extra HP regen.
Huskar loves playing on low HP to get maximum benefit from his Berserker's Blood, making him constantly visible to Bloodseeker due to Thirst. This usually prevents him from sneaking a solo Rosh or to safely flash farm as fast as possible with as little HP as possible. Rupture does damage during Life Break.
Viper can hold his own in lane versus Huskar as he outranges him and can trade back damage with Corrosive Skin. Viper can essentially end the lane upon reaching level 6 and acquiring Viper Strike as it prevents Huskar from utilizing Berserker's Blood. Viper can itemize for a quick Blink Dagger to always get the jump on Huskar.
Shadow Demon can save his allies with Disruption in the early game, as well as disabling Huskar with it. More importantly, as the game goes on he can pick up and Aghanim's Scepter and Break Huskar for up to 10 seconds with Demonic Purge.
Doom's Doom is one of the best spells against Huskar as he is the only hero in DOTA that does not have a Mana pool and utilizes HP to cast his spells and items. It prevents his Berserker's Blood healing and the lack of mobility in Huskar's kit makes it difficult for him to disengage easily and wait out the duration safely.
Huskar relies on sustained damage, but PA's Blur gives high evasion, making it hard for him to land hits. Her high burst damage from Coup de Grace can kill Huskar before he lifesteals back. Once PA gets BKB and Satanic, she becomes nearly impossible for Huskar to deal with. Halberd isn't enough to stop her physical burst.
Windranger kites Huskar effortlessly using Windrun to evade his attacks. Focus Fire melts through his low armor even when he has high HP from Berserker’s Blood. She builds Maelstrom or Gleipnir, which synergizes well against her mobility. Her Shackleshot can disable him long enough for allies to follow up.
Chaos Knight's reality illusions overwhelm Huskar, who lacks good AoE to deal with them. CK's burst damage from Chaos Bolt and crits can kill Huskar before he can lifesteal or disarm. Armlet toggling becomes ineffective against the chaos of multiple illusions. CK scales better and thrives in mid-to-late game where Huskar falls off.
Troll outlasts Huskar in fights thanks to Fervor attack speed stacking. Battle Trance saves Troll when Huskar brings him low, allowing him to lifesteal back and win duels. Troll builds Satanic and MKB, countering both disarm and evasion strategies. In late game, Troll becomes tankier and deals more DPS than Huskar can handle.
