Gyro’s AoE damage disrupts Enigma’s summons and early lane control. Rocket Barrage and flack canon can zone or punish Enigma for greedy jungle plays.
Flak Cannon shreds illusions, making Naga’s split push and teamfight presence less effective. Rocket Barrage also punishes her during early engagements.
Gyro excels against illusion and clone-based heroes. Flak Cannon and Rocket Barrage deal massive AoE damage to all Meepos at once.
NS is tanky but vulnerable to magic burst early. Gyro’s constant AoE damage helps kite and wear down NS before he becomes tanky.
Cold Embrace can be punished with Call Down and Flak Cannon. Wyvern's low mobility makes her vulnerable to Rocket Barrage in early skirmishes.
Gyro clears Beastmaster’s summons quickly with Flak and Barrage. Beastmaster’s lack of mobility also makes him vulnerable to Gyro’s burst combo.
Flak Cannon keeps hitting Pango even during Rolling Thunder. Barrage and Call Down damage him while he’s stunned or pinned against terrain.
Vacuum + Wall doesn’t affect Gyro much due to his mobility and spread damage. He also clears illusions with Flak and doesn’t rely on buffs.
Gyro ignores Tombstone with Flak Cannon and cleans up zombies quickly. Rocket Barrage lets him trade well against Undying in lane.
His Flak Cannon and AoE magic damage can hit Grim even if he's hiding behind creeps or allies. Gyro typically buys BKB, which makes him immune to Grimstroke's Ink Swell and Soulbind combo. In team fights, Call Down forces Grimstroke to reposition or retreat due to the slow and damage. Grim also lacks mobility and durability, making him easy to burst down during Gyro's cooldowns.

Ice Blast nullifies Gyro’s healing from Satanic and other regen sources. AA's long-range harass also punishes Gyro’s slow early movement.
Razor drains Gyro’s damage mid-fight with Static Link, making Flak Cannon almost useless. Razor also tanks through magical burst and out-sustains in lane.
Juggernaut can Blade Fury through all of Gyro’s early-game magic. Omnislash cuts down Gyro, who has no strong escape or disable to stop it.
Blinding Light causes Gyro’s Flak Cannon attacks to miss. KotL’s high mobility and magic burst disrupt Gyro’s teamfight contribution.
Venomancer kites Gyro with slows .Poison Nova combined with other spells from venomancer allies pressure and makes Gyro’s low HP pool a liability in prolonged fights.
