Pit of Malice is amazing at locking enemies down to set up both Static Storm and Kinetic Field due to it's AOE property. Disruptor can further Glimpse back any fleeing targets back into the Pit of Malice for devastating control and damage.

Echo Stomp is a powerful setup for Static Storm and Kinetic Field. When followed by Earth Splitter, this combo can wipe out nearly any enemy caught in it

Puck's Dream Coil is a perfect setup for Static Storm. When combined with Glimpse and Puck’s toolkit, enemy heroes can hardly escape a skirmish

In the laning stage Axe's Battle Hunger combined with your Thunder Strike deals significant harass damage. Glimpse is a perfect set up for Berserker's Call before Axe gets his Blink Dagger, allowing for kills early in the game. Later on, Axe landing a Call becomes a reliable setup for your Static Storm.

In the laning stage, Disruptor enables Ursa to dish out massive damage by trapping enemies with Kinetic Field, making it easier for Ursa to stack Fury Swipes. If that's not enough, Glimpse can pull fleeing enemies back, often securing the kill. This duo excels at punishing overextensions and snowballing early leads

Mars can keep enemies trapped for an extended period with Arena of Blood, creating an ideal setup for Disruptor’s Kinetic Field and Static Storm. Glimpse further complements this by giving Mars time to reposition and perfectly land Spear of Mars at the spot where the enemy returns

Kinetic Field can trap enemies and prevent them from attacking Undying’s Tombstone, allowing numerous zombies to spawn and swarm the targets. Glimpse is an excellent tool for pulling enemies back into Tombstone’s range, helping to secure kills

A core Boots of Speed upgrade to have some much needed mana sustain as your impact is highly reliant on your current mana pool.

A defensive item that lets you or a teammate become invisible and get out of trouble. Also lets you walk into teamfights for a multi hero Static Storm.

A core item to upgrade your Static Storm and mute items on affected enemy heroes. Especially useful with Blink Dagger to land Static Storm before enemy heroes use Black King Bar.

A core item to get better positioning for a multi-hero Static Storm. Works well with the item mute on Aghanim's Scepter.

A core item that can win you the teamfight and the game with double Static Storm. Works incredibly well in combination with Aghanim's Scepter and Blink Dagger.

A core item that maintains your pickoff potential and teamfight prowess on the map more often by reducing the cooldown of all your spells.

Slark is typically a difficult hero to catch and kill due to his high mobility and innate dispel. However, before he buys Black King Bar, he has no reliable way to escape your combo of Glimpse, Kinetic Field, and Static Storm. Kinetic Field, in particular, prevents him from using Pounce to get away, making it much easier to lock him down and secure the kill

Dawnbreaker often joins fights using her ultimate, healing allies as she lands. Glimpse can send her back to where she came from, removing her from the fight entirely. In some cases, it can also interrupt her Starbreaker combo. Alternatively, casting Static Storm at her landing point is a strong counter, silencing her immediately and preventing her from using any abilities

In the early game, Glimpse is a powerful tool for punishing Anti-Mage after he Blinks, unless he perfectly times Counterspell to reflect it. Anti-Mage typically rushes Battle Fury and Manta Style, which boost his farming speed and survivability, but neither item helps him escape Static Storm. Without a Black King Bar he's especially vulnerable in the mid-game, making him an easy target in teamfights or ganks

Spirit Breaker relies heavily on Charge of Darkness to initiate and join fights from across the map. Glimpse is an excellent counter to this, as it can send him back mid-charge, completely disrupting his momentum and removing his impact from the fight. Additionally, Static Storm can silence him before he gets off his Nether Strike, especially if timed at his charge destination.

Disruptor counters Storm Spirit by using Glimpse to pull him back after Ball Lightning, as it cannot be dodged even during travel. Static Storm silences him on landing, preventing escape or further spell usage.

Primal Beast often initiates with Onslaught or Blink Dagger to combo his target. Glimpse is a powerful tool to disrupt his initiation and save teammates. Additionally, Kinetic Field can hold him in place, giving allies time to escape Trample and avoiding most of his damage

Io often Tethers to a distant teammate to help them survive or to Relocate them to safety. Glimpse can break the Tether or, if timed just before the Relocate completes, return the hero back and secure a kill. Since Io almost always plays alongside an ally, a well-placed Static Storm will often catch both targets together

Sniper’s long attack range and stationary fighting style make him difficult for Disruptor to deal with directly. Disruptor’s spells have limited reach, and without proper vision or initiation, it’s hard to catch Sniper before he deals significant damage.

Drow Ranger’s long-range damage and high mobility with Gust and Multishot make her a tough target for Disruptor. Without reliable gap closers or vision, it can be difficult to pin her down with your spells before she deals heavy damage.

Clinkz’s high burst damage and invisibility allow him to ambush and instantly kill Disruptor if caught out of position. Without detection or strong team coordination, it’s challenging to lock him down before he eliminates you.

Legion Commander’s strong initiation and Duel ability pose a serious threat to Disruptor. Since Duel forces Disruptor to attack, his innate passive won’t help him escape, making it crucial to avoid getting caught or rely on teammates for saves.

Lifestealer’s Rage makes him immune to Glimpse and Kinetic Field, and it also allows him to ignore Static Storm if timed correctly. To counter Lifestealer effectively, you need to catch him off-guard before Rage activates or coordinate with your team to lock him down once it fades—which is not always easy to do.

Juggernaut’s Blade Fury grants Debuff Immunity, allowing him to ignore Kinetic Field, Glimpse, and Static Storm while active — making it easy for him to close the gap and secure kills. However, if you manage to initiate with Static Storm before he activates Blade Fury, you can potentially burst him down before he has a chance to use his abilities
