Chronosphere locks down enemies while Silencer uses Global Silence to prevent saves or interrupts. It guarantees that Void gets full damage off inside the bubble. Their cooldowns align well for teamfight dominance.

Silencer's Global Silence disables opponents, giving Invoker time to cast combos freely.

Quas-Exort Invoker benefits from clean initiation, and Silencer ensures no disruption.

They cover the map well and excel at long-range teamfights.

Phoenix’s Supernova can be easily countered, but with Global Silence, enemies can’t attack the egg. Silencer guarantees full duration of Phoenix’s ultimate. In teamfights, they synergize perfectly to disrupt and punish clumped heroes.

Tidehunter brings the teamfight initiation Silencer lacks. After Ravage, Silencer follows up with Global Silence to prevent counterplay. They both scale well and dominate objectives.

Night Stalker jumps the backline, and Silencer’s Global Silence ensures the enemy can’t react. During Night Stalker’s ultimate, Last Word and Arcane Curse secure kills on fleeing supports. Their aggression spikes at the same time — during night phase.

Magnus groups enemies with Reverse Polarity, and Silencer ensures follow-up goes unchallenged with Global Silence. Empower can even help Silencer farm faster or scale with Glaives. Together they create a deadly initiation + follow-up nuke combo.

Sand King can Blink-Burrowstrike into Epicenter, and Global Silence stops any attempt to stop him. Silencer’s zoning allows Sand King to channel Epicenter fully. Both heroes work well in chaotic, spread-out teamfights.

Batrider’s Flaming Lasso drags targets into danger, and Global Silence prevents save heroes from helping. Their high mobility allows map control and pickoff-focused gameplay. Silencer’s range allows follow-up damage from safety.

Clock traps key targets with Hookshot + Cogs, and Silencer follows with Global Silence to lock them down. They synergize for relentless aggression on supports and squishy cores.

Vision from Rocket Flare helps Silencer find perfect positions in fights.

Enigma’s Black Hole is the ultimate combo with Global Silence no one can cancel the Black Hole during Global. Enemies stuck in both suffer huge AoE punishment. Even in lane, Silencer can zone while Enigma farms safely.

A core Boots of Speed upgrade to have some much needed mana sustain as your impact is highly reliant on your current mana pool.

A core item to affect enemy heroes with Arcane Curse every time you cast Global Silence. Helps cancel Blink Dagger on enemy heroes as well as have another form of silence if they cast a spell once Global Silence ends.

A core item to increase both the permanent and temporary intelligence steal through Glaives of Wisdom.

A core item that can win you the teamfight with double Global Silence. Works well to counter high impact AoE control spells on the enemy team, like Black Hole.

A core item that maintains your teamfight prowess on the map more often by reducing the cooldown of all your spells. Also provides mana regen to spam Glaives of Wisdom.

Global Silence can interrupt Black Hole from anywhere on the map, forcing Enigma to either catch Silencer in it or not use it altogether until he is dead or Global Silence is on cooldown. Even if Enigma is under the effects of BKB or any other form of debuff immunity Global Silence would still interrupt BLack Hole's channel.

Silencer’s Global Silence cancels Dawnbreaker’s Solar Guardian, stopping her global presence. He can also interrupt her channeling with Last Word. Her reliance on casting abilities makes her vulnerable in both lane and teamfights.

Necrophos relies on continuous casting and sustain, both of which Global Silence disrupts.

Silencer’s Arcane Curse punishes him for repeated spell use, and Glaives of Wisdom deal consistent damage. Silencer can also zone Necrophos out during the laning phase.

Silencer’s Global Silence prevents Astral Imprisonment and Sanity’s Eclipse, ruining Outworld Devourer's initiation. Arcane Curse slows down OD’s tempo, and Silencer scales well with stolen Intelligence. OD's low mobility makes him vulnerable to being picked off by Silencer’s range

Silencer counters Bane's Fiend’s Grip with Global Silence, forcing Bane to buy defensive items like Eul’s or Glimmer Cape early. Last Word prevents Bane’s long disables from coming out reliably. Silencer's harassment also makes laning tough for Bane.

Global Silence completely shuts down Death Ward, Witch Doctor’s strongest teamfight tool. Silencer can zone him out during the lane, and his range makes it hard for Witch Doctor to get into position. He’s fragile and can't deal with Silencer's harass well.

Silencer is one of the hardest counters to Storm Spirit Global Silence disables him mid-ball Lightning, forcing him to build BKB early. Arcane Curse adds a debuff during escapes.

Storm's mana reliance makes him suffer in extended fights against Silencer.

Silencer’s Glaives of Wisdom deal pure damage that bypasses Bristleback’s tanky front.

Bristleback depends on spell spamming, so Arcane Curse and Global Silence cripple his impact. He has a low Intelligence pool, making him vulnerable to Sanity's Eclipse-style bursts over time.

Axe’s initiation is completely shut down by Global Silence, especially during Blink + Call combos. Arcane Curse triggers from Berserker’s Call and Battle Hunger, punishing his aggression. Glaives allow Silencer to harass Axe from a safe distance, especially during lane.

Silencer has no AoE or illusions control, so he gets overwhelmed by PL’s duplicates.

PL can easily dodge Arcane Curse and nullify Silencer’s single-target impact. Global Silence doesn’t stop PL’s scaling or survivability.

Tidehunter is naturally tanky and can purge Global Silence with Kraken Shell. He shrugs off Silencer’s harass and dominates the teamfight post-silence. Tide doesn't rely on constant spell casting, weakening Silencer’s kit.

Abaddon dispels Global Silence with Aphotic Shield and his ultimate, Borrowed Time, triggers despite silence. He removes Arcane Curse from himself or allies easily. Silencer has no way to stop Abaddon’s sustain-based playstyle.

Silencer struggles heavily against illusions and Naga’s Song of the Siren resets fights, making Global Silence ineffective. Naga also has natural magic resistance and multiple targets to soak Glaives. In the late game, Silencer becomes irrelevant due to illusion spam.

Chen doesn’t rely on spell combos in fights, so Global Silence has limited impact. His army of creeps ignores Arcane Curse, Silencer lacks wave clear and can’t pressure Chen’s push strategy.

Arc Warden plays at extreme range with clone split push, avoiding teamfights where Global Silence is effective. Spark Wraiths and Magnetic Field protect him from Silencer’s harassment. Silencer can’t easily catch or reach him, and the Tempest Double absorbs silences.

 undefined

Silencer has no AoE tools to clear spiderlings, making Broodmother dominate the lane and jungle. She’s unaffected by most of Silencer’s harass and controls the map with mobility.

Brood can end the game before Silencer gets online.

Slark thrives in prolonged fights and can purge Arcane Curse and Global Silence with Dark Pact. He benefits from attacking repeatedly, reducing Silencer’s INT with Essence Shift.

Silencer has no reliable lockdown to stop him from snowballing.

Silencer has no tools to deal with units or summons, so Lycan's wolves overrun him easily.

Lycan doesn’t rely on spells much, rendering Global Silence ineffective. He pushes fast and forces fights before Silencer can scale.
