Power Cogs can isolate enemy targets, giving Invoker an easy setup to land Sunstrike for high burst damage.

Clockwerk’s Cogs and Battery Assault prevent enemies from escaping, while Weaver can follow up with The Swarm and Shukuchi to secure kills effectively.

Clockwerk’s Hookshot into Power Cogs sets up perfectly for Ancient Apparition’s Ice Blast, allowing your team to eliminate key enemy heroes and win fights decisively.

Clockwerk can trap enemies with Power Cogs, making it easy for Pudge to land Hook and isolate targets for quick picks.

Snapfire can easily follow Clockwerk’s initiation with her ultimate, Mortimer Kisses. She can also use Cookie to help Clockwerk position better, making it easier for him to land Power Cogs and control the fight.

Clockwerk can follow Ember Spirit’s initiation with Sleight of Fist or set him up with Power Cogs. Together, they make a strong support and core duo, perfect for a chaotic and aggressive lineup.

Clockwerk can initiate on key targets and soak up spells for Storm, giving Storm the perfect opportunity to follow up once the enemy’s abilities are on cooldown.

Clockwerk can initiate on key targets and soak up spells for Void Spirit, giving Void the perfect opportunity to follow up once the enemy’s abilities are on cooldown.

Clockwerk can trap Medusa inside Power Cogs and burn her mana by pushing the Cogs into her, limiting her survivability and making her easier to kill.

Power Cogs make it incredibly difficult for Tusk to save allies—he can get pushed away or blocked, even if he has Blink Dagger. This disrupts his timing and positioning, making Clockwerk a strong counter to Tusk.

Clockwerk can easily pick off Sniper with Hookshot, then activate Blade Mail and trap him in Power Cogs. Sniper’s low mobility and reliance on positioning make Clockwerk an ideal counter.

Clockwerk can easily interrupt Pangolier's Rolling Thunder by trapping him with Power Cogs, preventing him from connecting with clockwerk's allies. Battery Assault further disrupts Pangolier, making it hard for him to escape or chain stuns.

Clockwerk can easily break Razor's Static Link by using Power Cogs to separate him from his target. His disruption makes it difficult for Razor to lock onto cores during initiations, especially in chaotic fights.

Clockwerk can easily pick off Earthshaker by revealing his position with Rocket Flare and committing with Hookshot, Battery Assault, and Power Cogs to prevent Earthshaker from initiating or escaping, making him a strong counter.

Clockwerk can easily pick off Drow Ranger even when she stays in the backline, forcing her to use crucial defensive items. If she doesn’t have any, Clockwerk’s disruption and disables create perfect setups for allies to follow up.

Clockwerk can easily trap Slark in Power Cogs, preventing him from escaping during Shadow Dance. If Slark tries to Pounce out, the cogs will push him back, locking him in place.

If Pudge hooks Clockwerk, Clockwerk can quickly disrupt Dismember with Battery Assault. The same applies if Pudge hooks Clockwerk’s allies, making it hard for Pudge to secure kills.

Clockwerk’s Battery Assault targets a single enemy, allowing Beastmaster’s summoned boars and hawks to absorb the damage. Additionally, Beastmaster’s summons make it difficult for Clockwerk to land his Hookshot , as he might end up targeting the summons instead of Beastmaster himself.

Phantom Lancer can easily escape Clockwerk’s Cogs using Doppelganger, and his illusions absorb Battery Assault damage. As a natural Diffusal Blade buyer, Phantom Lancer can quickly burn Clockwerk’s mana, rendering him ineffective.

Juggernaut can easily bypass Battery Assault and Power Cogs by using Blade Fury, allowing him to quickly turn the fight around on Clockwerk.

Terrorblade’s illusions can tank Battery Assault, and his high attack speed allows him to quickly destroy Power Cogs. Even if Clockwerk isolates Terrorblade, he can use Sunder to turn the fight and kill Clockwerk instead.

Visage is naturally tanky, and his familiars help soak up Battery Assault damage. Both Visage and his familiars can quickly destroy Power Cogs with their attacks. Clockwerk can only initiate and lock down heroes, lacking burst damage, so Visage can easily turn fights around and punish Clockwerk.

Anti-Mage’s Blink and built-in magic resistance make him hard to lock down. Even if Clockwerk hooks him, Anti-Mage can use Manta Style and Blink to escape or turn the fight around against Clockwerk.

Queen of Pain can easily escape Clockwerk’s spells using Blink and kite him effectively. She can slow Clockwerk’s movement speed with Shadow Strike and then finish him off quickly with Sonic Wave.
