Omniknight allows Slark to stick on targets and build up as many Essence Shift stacks as possible, without having to retreat at all potentially. He can give him a Debuff Immunity from most spells and Magic Resistance with Repel, while also protect him from Physical damage with Guardian Angel. Slark likes sticking to his targets with Pounce, making him a great target for Purification. All and all, Omni allows Slark to go fully ham with his heavy defensive kit.
Omniknight enhances Phantom Assassin’s ability to dive with repel to remove slows and Guardian Angel to keep her alive during burst. His healing sustains her through fights she would otherwise have to disengage from. PA thrives under constant protection from physical threats. Together, they dominate midgame fights.
Juggernaut’s healing from Healing Ward stacks well with Omniknight’s sustain tools. Omniknight can protect him during Blade Fury dives or Omni Slash combos. The pair becomes extremely hard to kill in team fights due to their mutual sustain. Their tempo aligns for early pushes.
Wraith King’s second life synergizes with Omniknight’s Guardian Angel to force multiple extended fights. Omniknight can keep Wraith King alive during his first life and delay the burst after reincarnation. Their frontline tanking potential overwhelms enemies. They snowball through objective control.
Lifestealer becomes almost unkillable with repel during his Rage. Omniknight’s healing amplifies Lifestealer’s sustain-oriented playstyle. The duo is hard to burst due to overlapping defensive mechanics. They thrive in long skirmishes and tower dives.
Omniknight enables Ursa to stay in fights longer by protecting him with Guardian Angel during Fury Swipes stacking. Repel gives him strength and helps him stick to targets. Omniknight also allows him to dive towers fearlessly. Together, they pressure Roshan and objectives early.
Sniper stays in the back while Omniknight protects him from divers with Guardian Angel. Repel helps Sniper reposition. Omniknight’s healing keeps Sniper’s damage uptime at its peak. This combo punishes teams with poor backline access.

Omniknight counters Legion Commander’s Duel by using Guardian Angel to completely block her physical damage during the fight. This often forces Legion Commander to retreat without securing a kill. Omniknight’s sustain makes her all-ins unreliable.
Guardian Angel nullifies Slark’s right-click damage during Shadow Dance or Essence Shift stacks. Slark relies on sustained fights which Omniknight’s healing disrupts. This forces Slark to disengage without building momentum.
Omniknight reduces Anti-Mage’s threat by negating his physical damage with Guardian Angel in team fights. Anti-Mage finds it hard to kill Omniknight’s cores due to constant healing and magic resistance. Heavenly Grace also reduces Mana Void setups by Anti-Mage. Shadow Demon completely counters Guardian Angel by purging it with Demonic Purge. His Disruption removes targets before Omniknight can save them. He breaks Omniknight’s utility and saves.
Primal Beast punishes immobile supports like Omniknight with Onslaught and Trample. He can quickly close gaps and burst Omniknight before he casts spells. Omniknight’s abilities don’t prevent Primal’s magical damage or crowd control. He struggles to save allies from Pulverize.
Ancient Apparition counters Omniknight’s healing and sustain with Ice Blast. When Ice Blast is active, Purification and Guardian Angel become useless. AA’s long-range poke prevents Omniknight from positioning safely. He denies the core aspect of Omniknight’s defensive play.
Doom silences Omniknight completely, disabling his healing and saving abilities. A Doomed Omniknight becomes useless in fights. Doom also breaks Guardian Angel .Omniknight has no way to deal with Doom’s direct suppression.
Medusa shrugs off Guardian Angel due to her Split Shot with Aghanim’s Scepter as she can target other enemies. Medusa’s tankiness also makes Omniknight’s healing less impactful. She outscales his team’s sustain in long fights

Winter Wyvern’s Winter’s Curse turns Omniknight’s buffs against his team. Her Arctic Burn ignores his physical resistance. Wyvern also counters grouping strategies that Omniknight prefers. She can delay fights until Omniknight’s cooldowns are wasted.
Elder Titan removes Omniknight’s defensive value with Natural Order, reducing armor and magic resistance. Omniknight can’t protect allies from Earth Splitter’s burst. He also struggles to maintain formation under Astral Spirit harassment. Elder Titan breaks down Omniknight’s durability.
