Sniper and Mars work well together because Mars can initiate fights with Blink Dagger and trap enemies in his Arena of Blood, locking them down for Sniper to safely deal damage from afar. Mars’ control creates space for Sniper to position and output consistent damage without being threatened
Ogre Magi can be a frontline tank for Sniper, providing slows and disables to control enemies. His Bloodlust boosts Sniper’s movement and attack speed, making them a strong and effective duo in fights.
Abaddon can heal and dispel Sniper, protecting him from disables while tanking damage on the frontline. This allows Sniper to stay safe and deal damage freely from a distance.
Oracle and Sniper pair well because Oracle can save Sniper from disables and bursts with False Promise, allowing him to stay alive longer in fights. Oracle’s ability to cleanse and heal keeps Sniper safe while he dishes out damage from afar.
Sniper and Clockwerk make a strong duo as Clockwerk can initiate fights by isolating key targets with Hookshot and Cogs, locking enemies in place. This setup gives Sniper the perfect opportunity to safely deal heavy damage from long range.
Io and Sniper work well together because Io’s Tether boosts Sniper’s movement and attack speed, enhancing his damage output and mobility. Io’s heals and relocates also help keep Sniper safe and position him for optimal damage in fights.

Sniper can easily kill Enigma’s Eidolons thanks to his long attack range, allowing him to clear them quickly. His superior day and night vision help him avoid Enigma’s Black Hole, and if Enigma commits Black Hole on his allies, Sniper can safely deal damage from afar without getting caugh
Sniper’s superior attack range makes it difficult for Huskar to lane against him. By buying Hurricane Pike, Sniper can keep his distance and easily push Huskar away if he tries to jump in with his ultimate.
Disruptor is an easy target for Sniper, who can use Shrapnel to zone and reveal him, then finish with Assassinate from a safe distance. Disruptor’s low mobility makes it hard to escape Sniper’s burst damage.
Necrophos struggles against Sniper in lane due to Sniper’s superior attack range, making it hard for Necro to trade effectively. Sniper can also pick off Necrophos during his Ghost Shroud (ethereal form),

While Storm may struggle against Sniper early on, he can dominate in the mid to late game using Ball Lightning and Electric Vortex to quickly close the gap and burst Sniper down.
Centaur Warrunner is naturally tanky, and with Blade Mail and his passive Retaliate, he can reflect a lot of Sniper’s damage. As a frequent Blink Dagger buyer, he can close the distance easily and punish Sniper. His ultimate, Stampede, helps his team initiate or escape, making him an effective counter to Sniper.
Morphling can turn into Sniper and outdamage him with higher attack speed and agility when fully morphed. He can also chase and finish Sniper off using Waveform, making it hard for Sniper to escape or trade effectively.
Pudge can easily hook and solo kill Sniper in the early game due to Sniper’s low mobility. In the late game, Pudge can displace Sniper by hooking him out of position, making him a strong counter throughout the match.
Spectre can use Reality to jump directly onto Sniper, bypassing his range advantage. In the mid to late game, Spectre's tankiness and sustained damage make it easy for her to kill Sniper before he can escape or fight back.
Phantom Assassin can easily close the gap on Sniper and burst him down with high crit damage at any stage of the game. Sniper’s low mobility and fragility make him an easy target for PA’s quick pickoffs.
Slark can easily kill Sniper by using Pounce to lock him down and Shadow Dance to stay elusive during the fight. Sniper’s lack of mobility makes him a prime target for Slark’s aggressive pickoffs.
Mars is a natural Blink Dagger buyer, allowing him to quickly initiate on Sniper. With Arena of Blood and Spear of Mars, he can trap and pin Sniper, making him an easy kill due to his low mobility and defenses.
Earth Spirit’s spells let him roll in quickly and silence or stun Sniper, making it easy to burst him down. His mobility and crowd control allow him to pick off Sniper during fights before he can react.
Primal Beast can use Trample to start, followed by Onslaught to close the gap, and then finish with Pulverize (ultimate) to disable and burst down Sniper. This combo makes it easy for Primal Beast to catch and kill Sniper despite his range advantage.
With his ultimate Shapeshift, Lycan gains increased movement speed and attack damage, allowing him to quickly close the gap and pick off Sniper before he can react.
