Dark Seer enhances Alch greatly with damage and mobility and set up. He can use Vacuum to set up Unstable Concoction on multiple targets and makes up perfectly for any damage or mobility issues Alch may encounter troughout the entirety of the game.

Surge allows Batrider to drag targets with Flaming Lasso at a far greater distance and spread more fire with Firefly as it provides hasted movement speed and prevents slowing. Ion Shell supplements him with further damage to help secure the kill and makes him significantly more potent as he aims to run over people with Firefly anyway.

Vacuum can pull multiple targets together to set up a perfect, team wiping Echo Slam or multiple Fissure and Aftershock stuns. Wall of Replica and Fissure can cut off multiple escape paths and create a cage like setup that's hard to manouver. Surge greatly helps with mobility and makes Shaker get into position much more easily.

Dark Seer enhances Ember greatly with damage and mobility. An Ion Shelled Ember running forward with hasted movement speed, which empowers the speed of his Fire Remnants is any support's worst nightmare. He makes up perfectly for any damage or mobility issue Ember may have throughout the entirety of the game. Vacuum and Searing Chains compliment each other fully as they can set up each other.

Vacuum can pull multiple targets into Black Hole for devastating amounts of damage when combined with Midnight Pule, Ion Shell and Illusions from Wall of Replica and Normal Punch. Surge provides Enigma with much needed mobility, which he can use to connect his high impact spells more reliably.

Vacuum can affect enemies DURING Song of the Siren, bypassing it's invulnerability mechanic - this allows Dark Seer to set up a perfect Wall of Replica as well as for the rest of Naga's team to follow-up efficiently. Ion Shell can be used on Mirror Image Illusions to amplify their splitpushing potency.

Dark Seer enhances Spectre greatly with damage and mobility. An Ion Shelled Spectre running forward with hasted movement speed, passing trough any unit and terrain is any support's worst nightmare. He makes up perfectly for any damage issue Spectre has throughout the entirety of the game.

Wall of Replica and Normal Punch (Aghanim's Scepter Upgrade) can create multiple Illusions of Medusa to do devastating amounts of damage to her own team as she tends to build heavy stat items to improve her own Manta Illusions' damage and durability. The Illusions DS creates inherit both Mana Shield and Split Shot if it was active at the moment of creating the Illusion. Surge is amazing at disengaging from Stone Gaze or closing the gap on Dusa.

Wall of Replica and Normal Punch (Aghanim's Scepter Upgrade) can create Illusions of CK that inherit Chaos Strike. CK's own innate Reins of Chaos can trigger both on Wall of Replica and Normal Punch, creating additional Illusions. Normal Punch can additionally create Illusions from ANY CK Illusions and not necessarily CK himself.

Wall of Replica and Normal Punch (Aghanim's Scepter Upgrade) can create multiple Illusions of Luna to do devastating amounts of damage to her own team as she tends to build heavy stat items to improve her own Manta Illusions' damage and durability. The Illusions DS creates inherit both Moon Glaives and Lunar Blessing. Surge is amazing at disengaging from Eclipse or closing the gap on Luna.

Dark Seer is able shut Spectre down in lane due to Ion Shell and offset her game entirely. What's worse is that even if Spectre ever gets to that late game where she thrives, Dark Seer is able to make multiple Illusions of her and use Spectre's strength against her and her team as Wall of Replica and Normal Punch (Aghanim's Scepter Upgrade) Illusions inherit Desolate.

Wall of Replica and Normal Punch (Aghanim's Scepter Upgrade) can create multiple Illusions of TB to do devastating amounts of damage to his own team as he tends to build heavy stat items to improve his own Mirror Image Illusions' damage and durability. The Illusions DS creates inherit Metamorphosis if it was active at the moment of creating the Illusion. In lane, TB struggles versus Ion Shell as he is a low HP but high Armor melee hero, that lacks wave clear. Surge is amazing at both disengaging and closing the gap on TB as Conjure Image's slow does not work during it.

Rupture makes it more difficult to get value out of Surge as the hasted movement speed now comes with a damage cost. Sanguiovore helps sustain Bloodseeker in lane against Ion Shell harass. Bloodseeker's Illusions do not inhherit Thirst, making him a weak Illusion hero that does not spawn a LVL 30 META TB with Wall of Replica or Normal Punch.

Fortune's End can dispel both Ion Shell and Surge, while providing valuable lockdown versus any Surged Targets. Fortune's End is particularly effective at shutting down Dark Seer's lane completely as it is one of the few level 1 dispels, that's AOE on top of that and Ion Shell is DS's main laning tool.

Most of Ursa's abilities are active appart from Fury Swipes, which is his main damage steroid that Wall of Replica and Normal Punch (Aghanim's Scepter Upgrade) Illusions do not inherit. Despite being a melee hero Ursa can focus down any Ion Shelled creeps in lane with Overpower and Fury Swipes to mitigate getting harassed and DS generally finds himself struggling greatly when facing Ursa in lane.

All of WR's abilities are active making her a poor target for Wall of Replica and Normal Punch (Aghanim's Scepter Upgrade) Illusions as they do not have any strong passives to inherit. WR can focus down any Ion Shelled creeps in lane and push out the wave with Power Shot to prevent getting harassed and DS generally finds himself struggling greatly when facing her in lane. Shackle Shot is amazing at locking down Surged opponents due to it's long duration.

Sven's main damage steroids are Greater Cleave and God's Strength, which Wall of Replica and Normal Punch (Aghanim's Scepter Upgrade) Illusions do not inherit, otherwise Sven would build Manta every game. Despite being a melee hero Sven can naturally push out the wave with Greater Cleave to prevent getting overly harassed by Ion Shell and can lock down any Surged targets with Storm Hammer. Storm Hammer's Aghanim's Scepter Upgrade allows Sven to dispel both Ion Shell and Surge, negating half of DS's kit.
