Chronosphere is absolutely amazing for setting up both Ice Blast and Cold Feet due to it's long duration and AOE property. They pair well together in lane being Melee/Ranged as Void's built in sustain trough Time Walk allows him to frontline for AA so he can make use of his long attack range and harass.

Chronosphere with Mystic flare poses a huge threat on the map against any hero.

Catching multiple heroes in Chronosphere means that Snapfire can use Mortimer's Kisses and amass a huge amount of damage.

Wraith King soaks early game pressure, buying Void space to farm. Late-game, WK’s reincarnation baits spells and sets up easy follow-up Chronospheres.

Her aura and swap provide both damage and save tools. If Void misuses Chrono, Venge can swap him or any teammate out of his bubble.

Undying creates long, chaotic fights where Time Dilation shines. Tombstone zoning and Soul Rip help Void survive and secure strong teamfight ground.

Chrono into Mass Serpent Wards ensures kills. Hex and Shackles disable key targets, letting Void commit safely without fearing counter-initiation.

Frost Shield protects Void during engagements, while Chain Frost synergizes with Chrono for high burst. Their teamfight overlap is deadly.

Weavers biggest strength is being slippery with Shukuchi and Time Lapse to survive anything. Time Dilation will prevent you from using Shukuchi and Chronosphere will prevent you from using both Shukuchi and Time Lapse.

Chronosphere provides excellent lockdown against Anti-Mage, allowing for reliable kills in all stages of the game.

Time Dilation while Blink and Counterspell are on cooldown will make these abilities unusable for a long time, shutting down his mobility and defensiveness.

Faceless Void's low mana pool makes him a poor target for Mana Void, although he is very vulnerable should Anti-Mage burn all of his mana.

Time Dilation affects Queen of Pain's low cooldown abilities, making them unusable for a long time, rendering Queen of Pain nearly useless.

Faceless void can just use time walk to get out of wukongs command or time walk any damage done by monkey king countering him easily, void can also setup with chrono easily brusting monkey king.

Pango is very reliant on Rolling Thunder, which gets completely shut down if he’s caught in Chrono. Void also avoids Swashbuckle chip damage with Time Walk.

Void punishes Ember’s low armor and roots him in place with Chrono before he can activate Fire Remnants. His stun post-Aghs can also catch Ember off guard.

Void isn’t punished much by mines due to Time Walk healing back the damage. He also forces Techies out of safety zones with Chrono or Time Dilation.

Medusa’s tankiness and Stone Gaze punish Void for standing still during Chrono. She can outlast his burst and counter-initiate easily.

Global Silence interrupts Time Walk, Chrono, and BKB timings. Faceless Void needs precise fights, which Silencer disrupts.

Cold Embrace saves Chrono targets. Winter’s ultimate also punishes grouped teammates, especially after Void drops a bad Chronosphere.

Strong laner that bullies Void early with ranged harass. Her untouchable reduces Void’s right-click effectiveness, and she’s hard to burst down alone.

Rage makes Lifestealer immune to magic damage during Chrono’s duration. If he Infests a creep or hero, Void has to waste time in chrono to reach lifestealer.

Glimpse and Static Storm are direct counters. Disruptor can trap Void post-Time Walk and silence him before Chrono, denying initiation.

Necro’s Heartstopper Aura and Reaper’s Scythe punish low-HP Void. In extended fights, Void becomes an easy target without BKB or help.
