Strategy
Treants are not only good for last hitting or harassing but also to scout, block off camps and deny runes.
Consider bodyblocking opponents with treants when going for a kill or trying to escape.
When low on health, consider using tp scroll to go back to base and teleport back with the spell.
Wisdom runes spawn at minute 7, look to steal enemy runes with teleport as it gives you a lot and denies a lot from the enemy.
Look around the map for opportunities to gank, take towers, snipe couriers, pick up runes or place deep wards.
Sprout provides vision in the area and can be useful to scout pillars for wards or Roshan.
Save yourself or an ally by placing Sprout strategically. It is great for kiting spell-immune opponents.
Sprout can push you up or down the cliff or pillar.
Typically, use Wrath of Nature on the opposite side of the map from where you want it to hit hard.
When not much is happening, push out the side lanes with your Sprout and summons.
Nature's Prophet excels at ratting, so resort to it if the game slows down or you fall behind.
Use Sprout to safely clear creep waves in dangerous areas of the map where you might die.
Counter Strategy
Nature's Prophet is great at sniping couriers. Fly courier over trees when possible
To counter Nature Prophet's Sprout, buy Quelling Blade, Tangoes or Force Staff.
Use a tango to get out of Sprout trees if you do not have a quelling blade.
Wrath of Nature can hit you with up to 400 damage at level 6.
If Wrath of Nature hits you and there are no enemies around, then you are close to an Observer ward.
Nature's Prophet can take down buildings fast. Organize defense quickly.
Nature's Prophet is great at split-pushing and ratting. Consider getting Boots of Travel on a core.
Lore
When Verodicia, Goddess of the Woods, had finished filling in the green places, having planted the coiled-up spirit in the seed, having lured the twining waters from deep within the rock, having sworn the sun its full attention to the growing things, she realized that her own time had reached its end, and like one of the leaves whose fate she had imprinted in the seed, she would fall without seeing the fruiting of her dream. It pained her to leave the world bereft, for the sprouts had not yet broken through the soil--and they would be tender and vulnerable to every sort of harm. She found in her seed pouch one last seed that she had missed in the sowing. She spoke a single word into the seed and swallowed it as she fell. Her vast body decomposed throughout the long winter, becoming the humus that would feed the seedlings in the spring. And on the morning of the vernal equinox, before the rest of the forest had begun to wake, that last seed ripened and burst in an instant. From it stepped Nature's Prophet, in full leaf, strong and wise, possessing Verodicia's power to foresee where he would be needed most in defense of the green places--and any who might be fortunate enough to call him an ally.
