Amphibian Rhapsody
DAMAGE TYPE: Magical
PASSIVE: No
Largo gets ready to groove. He is disarmed and his ability bar switches to 3 song abilities, each with different effects. Songs are only effective if strummed on the beat. Every time he strums successfully, he gains a stack of Groovin'. Each stack gives him bonus armor and reduces the mana cost of every song, but he loses a stack if he misses a beat. Stacks linger for a short duration when Largo's song ends.
Items can be used while in this mode.

Strategy
Use Catchy Lick to secure ranged creep last hits when your core cannot safely do it.
Use Catchy Lick to pull an enemy hero out of position, particularly when the enemy creep wave is dead. You can also use it to save an ally when they are in trouble.
Use Frogstomp and Catchy Lick together to keep an enemy hero in the stun and damage AoE for longer.
Use Catchy Lick to do a lot of damage even at early levels and pull an enemy hero closer to your melee attack range to trade with them.
Catchy Lick applies a basic dispel on cast. Use it on an ally or yourself when targeted by dispellable spells and items. Dispelling a debuff also applies a heal over time. You can also use it aggressively to take off dispellable buffs on enemy heroes.
Look to apply Croak of Genius on an ally who does a lot of nuke damage with their spells, such as
Zeus and
Lina. It causes their spells to do damage over time and also reduces their mana cost.
Remember that you cannot use your base spells like Catchy Lick or attack while strumming your instrument during Amphibian Rhapsody. You will have to turn off your ultimate when you wish to use your base toolkit.
Until you tank up with items like
Glimmer Cape and
Guardian Greaves, prioritize staying back and saving allies with Catchy Lick or provide lockdown with Frogstomp rather than standing next to your front line ally and channeling Amphibian Rhapsody.
When strumming your instrument during Amphibian Rhapsody, prioritize the healing from Island Elixir or the mobility from Hotfeet Hustle. You can provide damage with Bullbelly Blitz when you or your allies are in no danger whatsoever.
Pick up
Aghanim's Shard after
Glimmer Cape to apply the item buff to yourself as well whenever you cast it on an ally. Other buff items like
Lotus Orb also work well in a similar manner.
Purchase
Aghanim's Scepter to make yourself extremely potent in teamfights with your AoE damage, and provide buffs for allies by strumming multiple spells during Amphibian Rhapsody at the same time.
Counter Strategy
Someone should buy
Spirit Vessel to nullify Largo's healing.
Be aware of your positioning and do not get pulled out of position by Largo's Catchy Lick.
Largo's Catchy Lick applies a basic dispel. He can take off dispellable buffs from enemies as well as debuff his allies.
Orchid Malevolence and other control items are a good counter to stop Largo from using his high impact spells in teamfights.
Items that offset healing such as
Eye of Skadi and
Shiva's Guard good against Largo.
Nullifier's continuous dispel heavily counters Largo and takes off the buffs from Croak of Genius, Bullbelly Blitz and Hotfeet Hustle.
