Summons a powerful Spirit Bear companion that can equip items.
If the bear moves 1100 distance away from the Lone Druid, it cannot attack. Lone Druid suffers 20% of his max health as backlash damage if the Spirit Bear dies.
Spirit Bear has Demolish, Return, Entangling Claws, Savage Roar, and Spirit Link abilities.
Most spells interact with the Spirit Bear in the same way as they do with heroes.
Spirit Bear has 0 base attributes, 0 base armor, and %base_magic_resistance% base magic resistance. Attributes from buffs or items fully affect the bear as they would for Universal heroes.
Spirit Bear cannot gain experience. The Spirit Bear levels up when Lone Druid levels up.
Spirit Bear has its own Aghanim's Scepter and Shard upgrades.
Spirit Bear receives a copy of Lone Druid's Neutral Item that has an independent cooldown.

Strategy
Control runes with hero and Spirit Bear.
Fish for entangle by poking opponents with the Spirit Bear here and there. If it procs, you can do follow up damage with more right clicks.
Make use of catapult waves. The Spirit Bear can tank tower shots for a while.
When in trouble, consider using Savage Roar and True Form. Lifesteal or body blocks from the Spirit Bear can also help survive.
Avoid showing your hero too much, especially at the start of the fight.
You can take
Roshan fairly early by yourself or with minimal help. The Bear with Me facet will help heal both the hero and Spirit Bear with right clicks.
Make sure to pick up
Aghanim's Shard on your hero at the 15 minute mark. It provides a buff similar to
Drum of Endurance and basic dispel with Savage Roar.
In tough late game scenarios, resort to ratting with
Aghanim's Scepter on your Spirit Bear to let it attack away from your hero.
Counter Strategy
Spirit Link heals Lone Druid every time the Bear hits. Burst Lone Druid or don't bother hitting him.
Lone Druid buys items for the Spirit Bear if he has the Bear with Me facet. If you kill Spirit Bear twice, he does no damage.
Spirit Bear does a lot of damage to buildings. Organize defense quickly.
Lone Druid is a snowbally hero and falls off as the game goes. Look to extend the game.
Lone Druid is great at split-pushing and ratting. Consider getting
Boots of Travel on a core.
