Rewinds time to reverse damage and position

The Swarm
DAMAGE TYPE: Physical
PIERCES DEBUFF IMMUNITY: No
PASSIVE: No
Weaver launches a swarm of 12 young Weavers that latch on any enemy unit in their path, attacking and reducing armor until it is killed.
When a beetle latches on a target, it will remain there until it is killed or the duration expires.
Beetles are Spell Immune, but can be killed in 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 attacks from a unit. Heroes deal double damage to beetles.
Beetles provide vision.

Strategy
Consider placing an
Observer Ward for your mid laner quickly with Shukuchi as you load into the game.
Sniping
Animal Courier with the help of a {oberver-ward} behind their tier 1 tower will reduce their available detection.
Keep checking opponents' inventory for detection.
Use Shukuchi to secure ranged creep last hits and damage the opponents at the same time.
Weaver is already very strong in early to mid game. Look around the map for opportunities to join the fights.
In fights, focus on applying Swarm on as many opponents as possible and prioritize killing supports and backliners first.
When not much is happening, push out the side lanes aggressively as Weaver is elusive.
Weaver enables the team to take
Roshan fairly early due to Swarm armor reduction.
Pick up
Aghanim's Shard once you have your damage items in the mid game to further improve your DPS.
Aghanim's Scepter is a game changing pick up. Paired with
Blink Dagger or
Aether Lens, it becomes easier to use.
With the Hivemind facet, look to spam The Swarm and try to latch it on all enemy heroes around you to build an experience advantage.
Counter Strategy
Bring a
Sentry Ward and extra health consumables to the lane against Weaver.
Remove The Swarm from yourself and from teammates or you will loose a lot of armor.
Weaver's Time Lapse will remove
Dust of Appearance if it brings him out of the AoE.
Weaver is really good at killing supports and backliners. Protect them.
Using
Eul's Scepter of Divinity on yourself or becoming invisible removes The Swarm, unless you are being detected.
Instant disables and silences are great against the elusive Weaver.
Armor items,
Heaven's Halberd and
Ghost Scepter are great against Weaver's physical damage.
