Strategy
Use Blood Rite to secure range creep and damage the opponents at the same time if they decide to contest.
Keep an eye on your movement speed. If you are fast, it means someone is very low and you can play more aggressively.
Max out your bloodrage by level 7 as this is your main tool for flash farming with items like maelstrom.
The opponents will often attempt to teleport out when you Rupture them. Call for an ally to help you out if you don't have a way of securing the kill yourself.
Make sure to Rupture high priority targets in the fights, usually mobile cores, especially with Black King Bar.
With Aghanims Scepter and Aghanims Shard, it is often better to stand your ground and fight back when you are low as kills and right clicks will heal you.
Counter Strategy
Bloodseeker's innate sustains him by last hitting or denying creeps. Deal burst of damage to keep him low HP so he cannot last hit creeps with ease and regain HP.
Stay high on HP so that Bloodseeker doesn't gain additional move speed or see you.
When Ruptured by Bloodseeker, don't move too far and consider teleporting to base if possible.
Lotus Orb, Linken's Sphere and status resistance items are good at countering Rupture.
Lore
Strygwyr the Bloodseeker is a ritually sanctioned hunter, Hound of the Flayed Twins, sent down from the mist-shrouded peaks of Xhacatocatl in search of blood. The Flayed Ones require oceanic amounts of blood to keep them sated and placated, and would soon drain their mountain empire of its populace if the priests of the high plateaus did not appease them. Strygwyr therefore goes out in search of carnage. The vital energy of any blood he lets, flows immediately to the Twins through the sacred markings on his weapons and armor. Over the years, he has come to embody the energy of a vicious hound; in battle he is savage as a jackal. Beneath the Mask of the Bloodseeker, in the rush of bloody quenching, it is said that you can sometime see the features of the Flayers taking direct possession of their Hound.
