Dazzle departs his body, traveling through the Nothl Realm as an invulnerable spirit that can cast spells, attack, and use items, leaving his body behind in the world with a visible tether. While active, Dazzle's basic abilities are empowered: Poison Touch hexes enemies, Shallow Grave heals upon expiration, and Shadow Wave has a shorter cooldown. The effect can be ended early, and Dazzle returns to the body at the end.
When Dazzle's spirit is further than 1600 units from the body, the tether will begin to pull him back. The strength of the pull increases with distance.
Dazzle's Soul cannot attack buildings.

- Dazzle's soul departs his body, becoming an untargetable, invulnerable and tree-walking spirit that can still attack, cast abilities and use items. His mortal body can be attacked and there is a visible tether between it and Dazzle's soul. While in soul form, all Dazzle's basic abilities are improved: Poison Touch hexes enemies, Shallow Grave heals upon expiration and Shadow Wave has reduced cooldown. If the body is killed, Dazzle's soul perishes. When Dazzle's spirit moves further than 1600 units from his body, it is tugged back towards the body with the intensity of this pull increasing the further Dazzle's soul travels. When the effect ends, the soul returns to its body. Cooldown: 70/60/50s, Max Duration: 15s, Min Duration: 5s, Cast Range: 600, Mana Cost: 100/150/200

Strategy
Use Poison Touch only if you can follow up with few right-clicks on poisoned hero.
If an opponent is surrounded by allied units, you can Shadow Wave those units and deal huge damage.
Use Shadow Wave as Shallow Grave is about to expire to provide a burst of heal.
When in trouble, you can attempt to Shallow Grave yourself and teleport out.
Avoid showing yourself to opponents at the start of the fight. You are number 1 priority for them to kill.
Purchase Aghanim's Shard at 15 minute mark as it provides extra control and kills off basic illusions.
Use Bad Juju twice to reset the cooldown of Shallow Grave every time post level 12.
With the Nothl Boon facet, look to over heal your front line core when sieging or defending high ground to give them a damage barrier.
With the Poison Bloom facet, try to get four right clicks on an enemy hero affected by Poison Touch to do more damage and make it spread.
Counter Strategy
Avoid being hit by Dazzle while under effect of Poison Touch. If he has the Poison Bloom facet, move away from him or hide in treelines before he attacks you four times.
Shadow Wave does a lot of damage if you are surrounded by enemy units.
Someone buy a Spirit Vessel to offset healing from Dazzle and to finish off the Shallow Graved hero.
Look to focus Dazzle in teamfights as he is squishy but provides a lot of sustain if left unchecked.
Buy gap closing items to get on top of Dazzle.
Lore
Each young acolyte to the Dezun order must complete a series of rites before becoming a shadow priest. The final rite, the rite of shades, is a harrowing spiritual journey through the Nothl Realm, an unpredictable domain from which not all visitants return. Of those who do, some return mad. Others return with strange aptitudes. But all who go there are changed by their experiences.
Driven by the need for enlightenment, Dazzle was the youngest of his tribe ever to request the sacred ritual. At first the order refused him, saying he was too young. But Dazzle was not to be dissuaded. Sensing something special in the headstrong young acolyte, the elders relented. Dazzle drank down the sacred potion and sat by the fire while the rest of his tribe danced through the night.
In this ethereal dimension of the Nothl Realm, the properties of light and dark are inverted. Thus his brilliant healing light, beautiful to our eye, is actually a sinister kind of evil; and the darkest deeds are done in a dazzling glow. The elders' intuition was prophetic: Dazzle returned to his people as a Shadow Priest like none seen before, with the power to heal as well as to destroy. Now he uses his gift to cut down his enemies and mend his friends.
