Disruption is an amazing spell for AM as it can be used both defensively as a save and offensively as the AM Illusions it creates have Mana Break. Demonic Cleanse provides AM with a constant dispel making it hard to lock him down with roots or silences to prevent him from casting Blink.
SD can use Disruption on both CK and his Phantasm Illusions to create Illusions of his own that inherit Chaos Strike, while CK's own innate Reins of Chaos can be triggered by Disruption to create additional Illusions. Demonic Cleanse (Aghanim's Shard Upgrade) provides CK with a Basic Dispel and Disseminate increases the value of his Chaos Strike healing as he can now turn it into damage.
Disruption is amazing for both setting up Split Earth and providing Lesh with a save. SD's Demonic Cleanse provides Lesh with a constant basic dispel, which makes it impossible for him to be kited by slows. Lesh is one of the best targets of Disseminate as he naturally tanks a lot of damage.
Disruption is one of the best setups for Sacred Arrow as the arrow can be timed to fly over the Disruption as it ends, instantly stunning any target that does not have debuff immunity.
Static Link's damage drain persists even during Disruption - it just doesn't do damage, while Eye of the Storm persits active even while Razor is affected by Disruption, providing Razor with a both offensive and defensive use for it. Demonic Purge is amazing for Razor to stick to his target of choice as it pierces Debuff Immunity.

Disruption can also be used as a save to disrupt CK's Chaos Bolt/Reality Rift combo and prevent him from bursting a single target down.
Disruption is just a nightmare for Necro - any Illusions that it creates inherit Hearthstopper Aura as well as other auras like Radiance or Shiva, which Necro naturally builds into, ALSO Sadist and Profane Potency to help them stay alive. Disruption can be used as a save from Reaper's Scythe as it has a fairly long connection time. Demonic Purge dispels Ghost Shroud and hinders Necro's already low mobility even further.
Demonic Purge dispels Fate's Edict Magic Resistance and Purifying Flame's heal buff, while Demonic Cleanse (Aghanim's Shard Upgade) dispels both Fortune's End's root and Fate's Edict Disarm. Shadow Poison cannot be dispelled by Fortune's End. Disruption can prevent Fortune's End from connecting to it's target and dispelling and vital buffs or debuffs from it.

Shadow Demon can Break with his ult - Demonic Purge, once he picks up Aghanim's Scepter. Half of Spectre's Spells are passives and most of her damage comes exactly from those 2 passives so Break effects inhibit her more than any other hero in DOTA. Additionally, he can save teammates with Disruption from Spectre's global initiation and create Spectre Illusions of his own that inherit Desolate.

A Disruption save for a teammate of SD can easily turn into set up for an enemy Riki as he can preemptively place Smoke Screen and Tricks of the Trade on top of it. Tricks of the Trade can be timed to avoid Demonic Purge's or Shadow Poison's damage.
A Disruption save for a teammate of SD can easily turn into set up for an enemy Leshrac as he can preemptively cast Split Earth to time its duration. Leshrac doesn't really have buffs or passives for Demonic Purge to Dispel or Break (including his level 20 damage reduction talent) and Disruption doesn't stop him from doing damage with Diabolic Edict or Pulse Nova.
A Disruption save for a teammate of SD can easily turn into set up for an enemy Meepo as he can preemptively cast Earthbind or Poof to time its duration for a chain root or massive magic damage burst. Dig can be timed to avoid Demonic Purge's or Shadow Poison's damage and effects.
A Disruption save for a teammate of SD can easily turn into set up for an enemy Sand King as he can preemptively cast Epicenter or Burrow Strike to time its duration for an instant stun or massive magic damage. SK doesn't really have buffs or passives for Demonic Purge to Dispel or Break, appart from Caustin Finale and Disruption doesn't stop him from doing damage with Sand Storm or Epicenter.
Io functions perfectly fine under the effects of Disruption. Io can still Relocate his allies even DURING Disruption, although Disruption would interrupt Io's Relocate if used on Io himself, while channeling. Tether can keep affecting Io's allies and provide them with healing and mana even DURING Disruption. Spirits stay active and can do damage DURING Disruption. He doesn't really have any buffs or passives to be dispelled or broken with Demonic Purge.
