Ogre's Bloodlust provides Alch with an amazing steroid troughout the entirety of the game. In the early game it allows him to farm faster and more consistently get his items to spiral out of control. Alch having the lowest BaT in the game receives extra attack speed from BL.

The 2 pair well together in lane as they are melee/ranged. Oracle provides Alchemist with Magic Resist, sustain in lane, a dispel and even a further BaT decrease with his Agh's Scepter. Fortune's End can set up UC. False Promise allows him to truly go ham and do as much damage as possible in fights as due CR's healing he almost always comes out of it alive.

Abaddon provides Alchemist with a stable lane, which in most games is all he needs to spiral out of control. Mist Coil and Apothic Shield further sustain Alch and provide a dispel for him so he can truly go ham and do as much damage as possible in fights.

KOTL supplies Alch with much needed mana and reduces the cooldown of his basic abilities with Chakra Magic amplifying his farm greatly. If the lane is too tough Alch can easily start jungling as early as level 3 while KOTL clears the wave and holds the the tower with Illuminate.

Grimstroke's Ink Swell gives Alch everything he needs to charge fearlessly into the enemy as he is is a perfect body to set it up. Soul Bind causes Unstable Concoction to be thrown on both targets for massive AOE damage and Crowd Control.

Dark Seer enhances Alch greatly with damage and mobility and set up. He can use Vacuum to set up Unstable Concoction on multiple targets and makes up perfectly for any damage or mobility issues Alch may encounter troughout the entirety of the game.

Magnus provides Alch with Empower, which greatly amplifies his farming speed. This allows him to ramp up at a far greater pace and max out quicker in order to close the game. RP is an amazing set up for Unstable Concoction as UC stuns in a small AOE.

Simply put by the time Medusa is ready to fight Alchemist is ready to end the game. Her inability to pressure early or scale quickly when paired against Alch's farming potential often result's in games where she has half an inventory versus a maxed out Alch. Chemical Rage and Berserk Potion dispel Gorgon's Grasp.

The massive HP regen from Chemical Rage provides solid protection from being bursted during a Black Hole. Enigma's many Eidolons trigger Greevil's Greed and often become the focus of Alch for some massive easy gold. Malefice get's dispelled by both Chemical Rage and Berserk Potion.

Morphling naturally has high base attack damage and Alch is capable of significantly reducing it with Corrosive Weaponry and cripple Morph's overall damage output. Chemical Rage is by far Alchemist's best spell, which Morphling is unable to copy with his ult - Morph. Morph can be slow to ramp up and generally speaking by the time he's ready to fight Alch is ready to take his Ancient.

Chen's core mechanic is having an army of creeps to aid him in battle - Alchemist's core mechanic is killing creeps as they yield extra gold. This leaves Chen in an awkward spot as every engagement with Alch could just spiral his netwroth out of control. Alchemist's strong early game allows him to deal with Chen's early game pressure better than most heroes as he can drop an Acid Spray in front of a tower to hinder Chen's push.

Alch has the lowest Basic Attack Speed in the game by far during Chemical Rage, which allows him to dispatch of Phoenix's Supernova quickly. Phoenix uses Fire Spirits and Icarus Dive to reduce his opponents' Attack and Movement Speed in order to protect the egg, however Alch has not 1 but 2 dispels for it in Chemical Rage and Berserk Potion.

Tiny naturally has high base attack damage due to his ult - Grow. Alch is capable of reducing it with Corrosive Weaponry and cripple Tiny's overall damage output significantly. Alch acquires items quite fast to build up his HP pool, making it hard for Tiny to burst him with a single Toss + Avalanche + Tree Throw combo and can quickly heal back up with Chemical Rage.

His strong early game allows him to match Alch's strong early game better than most heroes.

AA's Ice Blast negates Chemical Rage's healing completely, which is Alch's main defensive tool. This usually forces Alch to flee from the fight entirely and wait it out. Additionally, his facet Bone Chill reduces strenght, which further impacts his overall potency.

Drow Rangers's Aghanim's Scpeter reduces Chemical Rage's healing significantly, which is Alch's main defensive tool. She is able to provide a strong consistent slow on Alch preventing him from both attacking and retreating and does more than enough damage to kill him.

Alch's damage is exclusively physical and Necro's Ghost Shroud completely negates it. Reaper's Scythe is a powerful tool to burst him and his Hearthstopper Aura can further reduce Chemical Rage's healing substantially, which is Alch's main defensive tool.
