Greatly paired with any Ranged carry heroes as they stand behind you while you hit people from the front. Drow Ranger can run enemies down thanks to your Nature's Grasp and Leech seed slow.

Greatly paired with any Ranged carry heroes as they stand behind you while you hit people from the front. Natures prophet's Sprout can be of help to your Nature's Grasp.

Both heroes benefit from tree cover. Hoodwink scouts, slows, and controls enemies, while Treant heals and protects. Their combo of Acorn Shot + Bushwhack + Overgrowth leads to quick pickoffs in tree-heavy areas.

Tiny frontlines and bursts enemies caught in Overgrowth. Treant slows the pace of the game so Tiny can farm for Blink + Echo Sabre, and together they dominate choke-point fights with AoE control.

Treant heals Ember through chip damage and sets up easy roots for Searing Chains. Ember buys time in fights with Remnants while Treant controls the battlefield with Leech Seed and Overgrowth.

Treant’s Living Armor complements Bristle’s tanky, sustained fight style. Bristle draws attention while Treant heals and slows everyone around. Overgrowth keeps enemies inside Quill Spray range for max impact.

Treant provides the sustain and control PA needs to jump in and out. Living Armor reduces her downtime, and Overgrowth locks enemies in place so PA can easily burst priority targets.

Treant keeps Leshrac alive through Living Armor and Leech Seed, letting Lesh safely run into fights with Pulse Nova and Diabolic Edict. Overgrowth also enables full Lesh damage output in mid-game fights.

Treant protects Spectre in the early game while she farms. Once Spectre uses Haunt, Overgrowth ensures enemies can’t escape. The long fights both prefer are perfect for Desolate and Treant’s healing.

Pugna’s Nether Ward deters nukers while Treant zones with slows. Treant protects Pugna’s Nether Blast pushes with Living Armor, and Overgrowth gives Pugna space to drain enemies safely with Life Drain.

A core Boots of Speed upgrade for mana sustain to spam your spells for fighting, farming, and healing allied heroes as well as towers. Can be upgraded to Guardian Greaves later in the game.

A core upgrade that adds to mobility and control by making you invisible near trees as well as your Nature's Grasp. Also lets you root an enemy hero with your right clicks, which lasts longer near a tree.

An early to mid game item to buff one of your cores against physical damage while boosting their attack speed and mobility. Can also be cast on yourself to gain a physical damage barrier.

A core mobility item to get the ideal positioning for a multi-hero Overgrowth in teamfights. Works well to Blink in and cancel high impact AoE control spells on the enemy team, like Black Hole. Also lets you stay back in fights and move in later to lockdown heroes after they use Black King Bar or other debuff immunity spells.

A core item to have vision and kill threat all over the map with Eyes in the Forest. Also lets you push out all three lanes with a well timed Overgrowth on creeps.

A core item that will let you use your ultimate a second time. Since the first time might not be enough as most heroes have a way of dispelling it, being able to use it twice could lead to winning a teamfight.

A core item that maintains your teamfight prowess on the map more often by reducing the cooldown of all your spells and items.

Sven relies mostly on moving during the teamfight and Treants skill set can be a nuisance for him as he slows and roots him. Try using your Overgrowth after Sven uses BKB.

Tiny relies mostly on moving during the teamfight and Treants skill set can be a nuisance for him as he slows and roots him. Try using your Overgrowth after Tiny uses BKB.

Treant Protector counters Meepo with Overgrowth, locking down all clones regardless of their spread. Leech Seed and Nature’s Grasp make it hard for Meepo to escape or initiate without punishment, and Living Armor delays Meepo's timing.

Treant slows Lone Druid’s pushing with Living Armor on towers, greatly reducing bear chip damage. During fights, Overgrowth disables both the hero and Spirit Bear, nullifying the summon's pressure.

Overgrowth disables Pangolier even during Rolling Thunder, instantly ruining his initiation. Treant can also tank Pangolier’s harassment in lane and slow him with Nature’s Grasp, making his movement harder.

Treant stalls Arc Warden’s map pressure with Living Armor . He can defend towers solo, and Overgrowth locks both Arc and his clone in place during ganks. Treant thrives in defensive skirmishes that Arc hates.

Treant deals well with Night Stalker due to his natural tankiness and Overgrowth, which stops NS from freely flying over terrain. NS also struggles to burst Treant during nighttime, especially when Living Armor is applied.

Treant slows down Visage's early tower pushing using Living Armor, while Overgrowth roots his familiars, preventing them from flying or stunning effectively. Visage also lacks the burst to quickly deal with Treant’s sustain.

Treant’s Nature’s Grasp and Leech Seed break Refraction charges easily. His slows and armor prevent TA from snowballing in early skirmishes. She’s also weak against crowd control like Overgrowth in teamfights.

Treant counters Legion Commander by using Overgrowth or Leech Seed during or after Duel, reducing her chances of winning fights. Living Armor denies her successful Duel finishes by keeping her target aliv

Timbersaw's set of skills completely counters Treant as it destroys trees and can easily catch him in them.

Slark's Dark Pact can easily dispel Overgrowth and Leech Seed naturally and run to safety or run in knowing he is safe.

Tidehunters Kraken Shell removes all your debuffs at a certain threshold which makes Treant less useful in the mid to late game.

Chen floods the map with creeps, bypassing Living Armor’s value through constant pressure. He outheals or dispels Treant’s chip damage, and his Hand of God negates Leech Seed damage completely.

Naga pushes multiple lanes and illusions burn through Living Armor fast. Song of the Siren resets any Overgrowth initiation, wasting Treant's major cooldown. Treant struggles to clear illusions or find the real Naga.

Treant’s high HP and sustain become liabilities versus Reaper’s Scythe. Heartstopper Aura ignores armor and whittles him down. Treant can’t burst Necro or stop him from sustaining through Leech Seed.

Treant's right-clicks are almost meaningless against Untouchable. Enchantress out-sustains him and punishes melee supports with impetuous harass. Her creeps also tank through Overgrowth and pressure early towers.

Phoenix’s Supernova zones Treant hard. He has low attack speed and cannot contest the egg. Fire Spirits destroy Treant’s early presence and reduce the healing potential from Living Armor and Leech Seed.

Doom removes Treant’s entire kit with one spell. After being doomed, Treant contributes nothing to the fight. Scorched Earth also negates healing from Leech Seed and Living Armor, nullifying his sustain playstyle.

Treant’s slow movement and predictable plays are easy to punish with Brambles and Cursed Crown. Shadow Realm lets Willow avoid Overgrowth and strike back with massive damage. Treant also can't reveal her easily.
