Tusk creates initiation and disables for Morphling to follow up. Snowball saves Morphling from trouble while he shifts. Morphling can play aggressively knowing Tusk can cover him. Tusk also helps him dive towers and chain kills.

Snapfire’s ultimate zones enemies while Morphling finishes them. Her stuns and slows help Morphling land Adaptive Strike.Together they offer burst and AoE control.

Even without copying Enchant Totem, Morphling pairs well with Earthshaker’s reliable stuns. Fissure and Echo Slam provide essential teamfight lockdown. Earthshaker’s crowd control gives Morphling safe opportunities to deal damage. Together, they create strong kill potential and area denial.

Dark Willow’s Bramble Maze and Cursed Crown help Morphling land his Adaptive Strike and Waveform. Her magical zoning spells allow Morphling to safely enter fights. She softens targets and controls space during Morphling's rotations. They function well together in small skirmishes and chaotic teamfights.

Soulbind doesn’t require copying to be useful—Morphling can now double-cast Adaptive Strike or target-link enemies with Waveform. Inkswell adds a stun and bonus damage when Morphling dives in. Grimstroke's slows and silences help Morphling secure kills. Their aggression pairs well in both lanes and fights.

CM gives Morphling the mana sustain he lacks during the laning stage. Frostbite holds targets in place so Morphling can land his full combo. Freezing Field zones enemies while Morphling commits to the frontline. CM’s passive benefits Morphling’s spellcasting throughout the game.

Dazzle’s Shallow Grave is still powerful to help Morphling survive dangerous fights. Shadow Wave heals Morphling while damaging nearby enemies in close skirmishes. Poison Touch slows fleeing enemies, setting up Morphling’s Waveform kills. Dazzle sustains Morphling through mid-game engagements and push attempts.

X-Mark helps Morphling set up kills or safely extend with Waveform. Kunkka’s Torrent and Ghostship control teamfights while Morphling dishes out damage. The Boat buff grants Morphling extra tankiness during his burst window. Together they excel at pickoffs, sieges, and prolonged fights.

Morphling outscales Lifestealer due to better agility gain and mobility. Lifestealer can’t burst Morph before he shifts attributes. Morph’s ranged kiting and ability to waveform away make Lifestealer ineffective. Morphling also can turn into Lifestealer to use Rage himself.

Morphling can morph into Ember and use Sleight of Fist and chains to great effect. He survives Ember’s magical burst thanks to his attribute shifting. Ember’s low armor becomes a liability against Morph’s high agility. Morphling eventually becomes a stronger version of Ember.

Morphling copies Weaver’s mobility and outdamages him in extended fights. His Waveform and Shift keep him alive during Weaver’s burst. Weaver can’t man-fight Morphling once he gets stats. Morphling also benefits from Weaver’s Secuchi when copied

Morphling can disengage Razor’s Static Link with Waveform. He survives early pressure with attribute shifting and returns fire later. Morphling’s range lets him poke Razor while avoiding being tethered. In longer fights Morph’s scaling wins out.

Morphling survives Juggernaut's burst with shift and can dodge Omnislash with Waveform. Once BKBs are down, Morphling can out-damage Juggernaut with Agi morph. He also benefits from copying Blade Fury to become spell immune himself. Juggernaut’s window of threat is very short.

Morphling’s magical burst from Adaptive Strike can break TA’s Refraction instantly. He also uses Waveform to burst her before she escapes. Morphling outscales TA in teamfights with AoE tools. She can’t stand against him without getting bursted down first.

Clinkz gets countered by Morphling’s survivability and agility advantage. Morphling Waveforms out of range and punishes Clinkz’s weak durability. Copying Clinkz grants Morphling access to his fast damage abilities. Clinkz has no answer for Morph’s regen and burst combo.

Morphling is hard to lock down for Pangolier and punishes his low armor. Attribute shift counters Pangolier’s ult chip damage. Morphling can even morph into Pangolier to use Rolling Thunder. His sustained damage and tankiness outlast Pangolier in fights.

Viper’s poison-based damage is countered by Morph’s natural tankiness and regen. Morphling doesn’t rely on items for damage so Nethertoxin has less value. Morphling can burst Viper down before being fully whittled. He scales better and wins long fights.

Bristleback’s back-loaded damage is countered by Morph’s Attribute Shift. Morphling turns Bristle’s strength against him by copying Quill Spray and stacking it. He also kites Bristle with Waveform and magic burst. Morphling can slowly chip Bristle down without dying.

Morphling naturally has high base attack damage and Alch is capable of significantly reducing it with Corrosive Weaponry and cripple Morph's overall damage output. Chemical Rage is by far Alchemist's best spell, which Morphling is unable to copy with his ult - Morph. Morph can be slow to ramp up and generally speaking by the time he's ready to fight Alch is ready to take his Ancient.

Ice Blast prevents Morphling from using Attribute Shift (Strength Gain) to increase his HP pool and 'heal' up. To farm optimally Morphlings keep their HP low in order to have as much Agility as possible, which allows AA to snipe him across the map with Ice Blast.

Axe counters Morphling with instant disable from Blink Call into Blade Mail. Morphling’s low armor while shifting strength becomes a liability. Axe punishes greedy Morph builds with pure initiation. Morphling can’t avoid dying if caught while not fully morphed.

Doom disables Morphling’s ability to Attribute Shift, leaving him very vulnerable. Once Doom is cast, Morphling can be bursted down quickly. Morphling relies heavily on abilities to live and fight. Doom’s spell removes his entire playstyle temporarily.

PL overwhelms Morphling with illusions that deal fast damage and are hard to identify. Morphling’s single-target abilities don’t counter illusion spam. Morphing into PL is ineffective due to low stat scaling. In the late game, PL is too much to handle without AoE.

Rubick becomes a threat if he steals Waveform or Morph. He can burst Morphling with his own tools. Morphling’s valuable spells often get turned against him. Rubick can outplay Morph if Morphling is careless with spell usage.

Luna’s fast-paced teamfight damage bursts Morphling before he can shift. She takes objectives quicker and snowballs faster. Morphling doesn’t enjoy early fights and Luna forces them. Eclipse punishes Morphling’s weak early-game.

Nyx punishes Morphling with Mana Burn based on high INT from Attribute Shift. His Carapace triggers easily on Waveform or Adaptive Strike. Nyx scouts Morphling and disables him before he reacts. Mana burn spam ruins Morph’s sustain and forces defensive play.

Lion disables Morphling instantly with Hex and burst combo. His Finger of Death punishes Morph’s low HP when morphed to Agility. Lion doesn’t care about Morph’s shift due to chain disables. Morphling dies in one rotation if not extremely careful.

Dark Seer’s Wall creates a strong illusion of Morphling that turns fights against him. Ion Shell and Vacuum force him to fight on DS’s terms. Morphling has a hard time bursting illusions fast enough. He becomes his own worst enemy in wall-heavy fights.

Bane’s Fiend’s Grip pierces BKB and disables Morphling fully. Enfeeble reduces his damage and healing during fights. Bane also sets up ganks that Morph can’t dodge. Morphling suffers if caught before shifting or after Waveform.
