KOTL supplies Alch with much needed mana and reduces the cooldown of his basic abilities with Chakra Magic amplifying his farm greatly. If the lane is too tough Alch can easily start jungling as early as level 3 while KOTL clears the wave and holds the the tower with Illuminate.
KOTL's Chakra Magic supplies Lesh with significant amounts of Mana and further reduces the Cooldowns of Leshrac's basic abilities, which are one of the best in the game. Both his Facets do wonders for Lesh as they can either amplify his magic damage (Solar Bind) or provide him with global presence (Recall).
Chakra Magic lets Bristle non-stop spam Quills and Goo. Blinding Light helps reposition Bristle when he's kited. Will-o-Wisp controls enemies long enough for Bristle to stack damage. They dominate long, drawn-out teamfights together.
Chakra Magic fuels Ember’s Flame Guard and Sleight of Fist spam. Will-o-Wisp locks enemies down for big Sleight damage. KotL keeps Ember active across the map with Recall. Their fast-paced playstyle pairs perfectly.
Chakra Magic extends Storm’s mana pool, enabling deep dives. Recall allows KotL to bring Storm to objectives or fights quickly. Blinding Light helps displace enemies for easier electric vortex setups. They snowball hard if coordinated.
Tinker thrives with the mana regen KotL provides via Chakra. Illuminate and Blinding Light help defend high ground with Tinker. Will-o-Wisp holds enemies in lasers. They stall and defend waves better than almost any duo.
Will-o-Wisp disables enemies, making Duel wins easier. Chakra gives LC more Overwhelming Odds or Press the Attack uses. KotL’s wave clear gives LC better map control to farm/blink duel enemies . Recall brings LC to surprise duels around the map.
Will-o-Wisp keeps enemies in Rolling Thunder’s path. Chakra enables Swashbuckle spam for constant damage and control. Blinding Light disrupts enemy formation, helping Pangolier find good angles. They create total chaos together in teamfights.
Will-o-Wisp groups enemies for Echo Slam. Chakra Magic supports his low mana pool in early fights. Illuminate softens up waves for better lane control. Together, they control fights with brutal AoE lockdown.

Blinding Light causes TB to miss, greatly weakening his right-clicks. Illuminate clears illusions and pressures him early. KotL forces fights before TB gets key items like Manta/Skadi. Will-o-Wisp controls TB in teamfights, ruining his BKB timing.
KotL can break Ringmaster's combo setup by forcing movement with Blinding Light.

Nyx thrives against KotL’s high manapool and low HP. Mana Burn deals huge damage due to KotL’s intelligence scaling. He easily catches KotL while he channels Illuminate or Recall with Vendetta and Carapace.
Slardar’s high mobility and Corrosive Haze quickly delete squishy backliners like KotL.
He can blink-stun KotL before he reacts with Will-o-Wisp or Blinding Light. KotL has no hard disable to stop Slardar’s initiation.
Weaver ignores Will-o-Wisp with Shukuchi and Time Lapse. He can chase and kill KotL with Geminate Attack while remaining hard to catch. KotL's low armor and HP are vulnerable to Weaver’s sustained poke.
Moonlight Shadow helps gank or disengage from KotL’s channeled spells. Arrow punishes long Illuminate channels. High mobility lets her avoid Will-o-Wisp and Blinding Light easily.
KotL is vulnerable to surprise Burrowstrike into Epicenter. Sand King often sits in fog or burrows in, making KotL’s recall risky. He punishes KotL’s squishy positioning and long cast times
Chaos Bolt and Phantasm burst down KotL before he casts anything. KotL has no AoE lockdown to control the illusions. Will-o-Wisp is slow and unreliable against CK’s fast, chaotic fighting style.
KotL’s large mana pool makes him a prime Mana Void target. Blink lets AM close the gap and kill him easily. KotL has no reliable way to stop AM’s split-push or farm pace.
KotL struggles with PL’s illusions — his spells don’t clear them effectively. Once PL closes the gap, KotL dies quickly with little peel. He can also dodge Illuminate and Will-o-Wisp effects with Doppelganger.
