Our Hero Builds as Steam Guides
We continuously update 171 in-game hero guides with our proprietary knowledge, which is maintained by professional Dota 2 coaches. These guides contain 1'250 strategy tips, item and ability combos for each hero as well as item and ability builds with insightful comments. Join our community of 1'000'000 players using our guides.
You can either subscribe to all of our guides at once by using our browser script to save time, or you can subscribe to individual guides through the Steam Community website.

Subscribe to all Steam Guides at once
- Go to the steam community: https://steamcommunity.com
- Log into your Steam account
- Open your browser’s developer tools:
- Chrome / Microsoft Edge:
- Select "More tools" => "Developer tools"
- Or press F12 or Ctrl-Shift-I
- Opera:
- Select "O" (top left corner) => "Developer" => "Developer Tools"
- Or press Ctrl-Shift-I
- Chrome / Microsoft Edge:
- Copy-paste the following JavaScript code snippet into your browser's console and then press enter. The code snipped will connect to steam and subscribe to all guides automatically.
- Wait for the magic to complete, this can take up to a minute. Once completed, you will see a message showing the number of guides you subscribed to.
- Restart Dota 2 to see the Dota Coach guides in the game

Subscribe to selected Steam Guides
Search your hero and select the role, then click on "Subscribe to Guide".
Then click on "Subscribe" on the Steam page. If you're logged out, you will be asked to log into Steam. The login is only necessary for the first time.
Thereafter click on "Favorite" to make the guide appear at the top of your guides list in the game. You can also click on "Thumbs Up" to show your appreciation for our guides and make them more visible to other players.
Repeat the process for all heroes and roles you like to play. After that, restart Dota 2 to see the guides in the game.
